• Level 3: Main Idea in Paragraphs
  • Objective: Extract the main idea and key details directly from an informational text.
  • Activity: Students read a short paragraph on a task card, identify the topic, main idea, and three details, and fill out a corresponding graphic organizer.
  • Includes 6 high-interest paragraphs on topics like: The Sun, Butterflies, Shark Teeth, The Moon, Silkworms, and The Milky Way.
